# 2. Set up Member Access Pass

Create a member access pass that checks your community members' Subber account for a linked Discord role or for an NFT in their linked wallet.

Member Access Passes can check for a linked Discord Role *and/or* an NFT. You'll need to ask your community to join Subber and link their Discord account with the Role or wallet with the NFT in order to show up on your Subber Memberlist. 

This is required for Subber to activate your community.

1. To set up your first Member Access Pass, go to Dashboard > Holder Access > Create New Pass
2. Fill out the form to create your first pass. Note: You can have the Pass check for a Discord Role *and/or* an NFT.
3. Ask your community to join Subber and link their Discord account with the Role or wallet with the NFT in order to show up on your Subber Memberlist.
